A MATTER OF TASTE CATERING opened its doors in 1996 by the husband and wife team, Laura and Marc Barowski. Laura has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Home Economics from California State University - Long Beach.  She has 30 years experience in the service industry - 12 of which were in the airline and hotel sector.  Marc comes from management of a Fortune 100 company with over 25 years of experience in the service industry.

A Matter of Taste's main Kitchen is located at 455 McCarty, in the North Central part of San Antonio.  A Matter of Taste is known for catering to many Private Schools and Day Cares in the San Antonio area. 

The goal of “AMOT” is to encourage children to eat a well balanced meals by offering child-friendly foods that are appetizing and nutritious.  We offer a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, foods that are baked, not fried, and serve age appropriate portion sizes.  We have a professional and highly motivated staff, who are certified and trained by the San Antonio Metropolitan Health Department.

A Matter of Taste also caters Wedding Receptions and Buffets, Quincenaeras, Proms, Corporate Breakfasts and Luncheons, Party Trays and Summer Camps.
